Wolseley Private Equity sold its special interest magazine publisher, NextMedia, to the Forum Media Group, a German publishing company, in September 2013.

NextMedia was established five years prior through the amalgamation of three specialist publishers, and under Wolseley's watch became the fourth largest magazine publishing group in Australia.

Through a series of acquisitions and licencing agreements, NextMedia expanded its portfolio to include more than 40 specialist magazine titles along with a range of books, posters, DVDs, events, websites, enewsletters and digital communications.

Wolseley invested in NextMedia alongside Bankable CEO© David Gardiner and Commercial Director Bruce Duncan, both of whom will remain with, and will retain a financial stake in, the Group.

The Forum Media Group is a mid-sized international publishing company, headquartered in Germany. It operates in 15 countries and employs around 780 people. NextMedia represents a valuable platform through which Forum Media can establish and expand its presence in Australia.

Wolseley is distinguished by its Bankable CEO© Program. In this Program, Wolseley partners with outstanding CEOs who have successful track records, impeccable references and deep knowledge and expertise in their particular industry, to identify and acquire companies requiring succession solutions. These experienced, capable and energetic individuals drive the success of a business and also add credibility and confidence in discussions with investors and bankers, hence the term Bankable CEO©.

Wolseley Private Equity was represented on the Board of NextMedia by James Todd (Chairman) and Richard Burrows (Director).
