Peter Williams
Managing Director

Pacific Services Group (PSG) is a leading provider of electrical, data and communications services in a broad range of sectors including public infrastructure, defence, mining, industrial, manufacturing, commercial and marine.  Its clients include government and some of Australia’s largest companies. PSG has highly evolved quality assurance and safety systems, and is a leader in ecologically sustainable development.

Wolseley Private Equity made an initial investment in Pacific Services Group in January 2006. The group has grown organically and through the acquisition of seven leading electrical and communications services businesses in Victoria, New South Wales, Tasmania, South Australia and Queensland. Today PSG employs more than 1000 electricians, has an annual turnover in excess of $300 million, and has a single IT platform.

Wolseley has invested in PSG alongside the owners of each of the businesses and PSG senior management. This has been vital for the successful retention of the skills, experience and relationships built up over many years by each of the respective business owners.

Peter Williams founded Elecraft in 1976 and grew it into one of the largest and most successful electrical services firms in Victoria. Wolseley acquired a majority interest in Elecraft in 2006 at which point Peter became CEO of the holding entity, Pacific Services Group, and has successfully led the acquisition and integration of six other electrical and communications businesses.

Wolseley Private Equity is currently represented on the Board of Pacific Services Group by
Andrew Petering (Director), Felix Danziger (Director), and Mark Richardson (Alternate Director).
