Richard Burrows 

Richard joined Wolseley in 2006 and has many years private equity and corporate advisory experience in Sydney and London. Richard is responsible for deal origination, negotiation and execution; portfolio company oversight; exit planning and implementation.

Richard began his career with Ernst & Young in the UK, where he qualified as a Chartered Accountant, working with entrepreneurs and owner managed businesses in the mid-market. He moved to Sydney in 1998 where he spent 8 years with Ernst & Young Mergers & Acquisitions focusing on transactions with values between $20M and $200M. He advised on acquisitions, financing, trade sales and equity capital markets transactions, working with private and public and private equity backed companies in the Australasian market.

Richard chairs Wolseley's Exit Review Committee.

Richard is married with a baby daughter and is a keen and accomplished musician.

Richard is a chartered accountant and holds a BSc (Hons) Chemistry from Imperial College, University of London. He is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and a member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales.
